Biotin is a key vitamin for healthy hoof growth. Cracked, brittle, or too-soft hooves as well as insufficient hoof growth can be caused by a deficiency of biotin, a water-soluble vitamin from the B-vitamin group. B vitamins are normally produced in sufficient quantities in the healthy large intestine of the horse. Unfortunately, insufficient crude fiber, reduced basic feed quality, or one-sided nutrition leads to disturbances in intestinal flora and thus to reduced endogenous biotin synthesis. In addition to delayed hoof growth and reduced horn quality, skin disorders, muscle tension, nervousness, and decreased performance can be further signs of biotin deficiency.

Biotin Hoof Mixture is a feed concentrate to promote the formation of healthy hoof horn. It combines biotin in effective daily dosage with vital nutrients for hoof stability, such as organically bound zinc, brewer's yeast, fermented grain, and sulfur-containing amino acids.

Finely cracked oilseeds and oil cake blend (linseed, sunflower seeds, black cumin seeds) 14.6%, Malt, Maize germs (corn germs), Wheat bran, Cold-pressed oil blend (linseed, sunflower, maize germ oil) 6.9%, Brewer's yeast, Herbs (milk thistle seeds, parsley, horsetail), Barley flakes (lacto-fermented), Carrots, Fruit pomace (apple/grape), Turmeric, Barley germs.
