Das Gesunde Tier STRUVIT FORTE CAT is a dietary supplement for cats developed to support urinary acidification and help maintain an optimal urine pH. An imbalanced urine pH in cats can contribute to crystal formation in the urinary tract — particularly struvite. An overly alkaline urine environment combined with certain mineral concentrations can increase the risk of deposits forming.

STRUVIT FORTE CAT contains DL-methionine, an amino acid that supports acidification of the urine and thereby promotes an environment that can counteract crystal formation. The target pH range of 6.0–6.5 is considered ideal in veterinary literature. Taurine, an essential amino acid for cats, is also included to support general metabolic regulation.

Feeding Recommendation

Daily dose: 1 tablet per 5 kg body weight, morning and evening.

In the first 1–2 weeks, the dose may be doubled if needed. After the first feeding week, check the urine pH and adjust accordingly. Always provide fresh water. Recommended duration: 6–12 weeks.
