Lunderland Dietary Fiber can be used for targeted weight loss in overweight pets. Due to the volume of the food, pets experience a pleasant feeling of satiety, even though they are actually consuming fewer calories. This makes a diet much easier for everyone involved!

In the case of elimination diets, allergies, other intolerances, or when vegetables, grains, or fruit are rejected, these fibers provide the necessary but neutral enrichment of dietary fiber.

Food transitions can be made easier by adding these fibers, and the risk of diarrhea in sensitive animals can be minimized.

In cases of tumor diseases or diabetes, the carbohydrate content in the food can be reduced without having to sacrifice dietary fiber.

Flatulence caused by abnormal fermentation of plant fibers is reduced. The intestinal mucosa is mechanically cleansed due to the stable, three-dimensional fiber network as well as the capillary effect of the fibers.

In puppies, the growth and development of the intestinal villi are particularly stimulated. Seniors benefit from optimized nutrient absorption, which eases digestion overall.

Last but not least, the fibers also optimize bowel movements. Soft stool becomes firmer, which massages the anal glands. This prevents blockages or inactivity of the glands. Firm, well-formed, and adequate amounts of stool stimulate intestinal peristalsis, which in turn accelerates intestinal transit. Substances requiring excretion are passed sooner. Conversely, stool that is too firm can be made significantly softer by mixing it with additional fluid.

Cats For cats, the fibers help to pass swallowed hair more easily after their daily grooming routine (counteracting the formation of hairballs). They also offer a way to introduce dietary fiber into meat meals without driving up the starch content (cat food should be prepared low in starch, as cats can barely metabolize starch).

Please Note

Incorrect preparation can lead to diarrhea. This is almost always due to too much additional moisture or a transition to the fibers that is too rapid. However, loose stool quickly normalizes after discontinuing the fiber or correcting the dosage.

After the administration of fibers, dogs—especially large breeds—should rest and not be encouraged to engage in excessive exercise.

An adequate supply of fresh drinking water must be ensured at all times.

Lunderland Dietary Fiber is ideal for carrying out diets or for administration over limited periods of time. Continuous, long-term supplementation is possible but should be accompanied by veterinary supervision.
