The golden-yellow linseed, gently cracked using a patented process, ensures silky coat shine and supports intestinal function. In addition, LinuStar® protects the gastric mucosa and contributes to its regeneration. The cracking creates hair-fine cracks in the seed shell. Thus, the seed is still protected against oxidation and therefore against spoilage. However, when it comes into contact with liquids such as water or with digestive secretions, the shell swells up and the mucilaginous substances and other nutrients become accessible to the organism. The golden-yellow linseed naturally forms less prussic acid and therefore does not need to be cooked before feeding. As a result, all valuable ingredients such as omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E, and the important mucilaginous substances remain intact.
